Datestamped news?

Is there any way to have the ebooks generated by fetching news have some time of datestamp in their title? As it is, having all of the news from the same source have the same title makes it hard to distinguish between "issues", and also results in a lot of false positives when running the Find Duplicates plugin (which unfortunately appears to no longer be maintained, so making it ignore books with the News tag isn't an easy option).

If you are using one of the Kindle output profiles, then no, because having the date in the title messes up the kindle periodical grouping. if you use any other output profile the date is added to the title automatically.

Ah, OK. I had converted my default output format from MOBI to KEPUB when I switched from a Kindle to a Nook, but I forgot that there was also an output profile config in a different area of the settings. Switching that to Generic from Kindle did start adding dates to some of the generated News books, but not all: specifically, for some reason Harper's doesn't seem to correctly populate the date, resulting in all issues having the name

Harper's Magazine - articles from printed edition []

(where those square brackets contain the date for other sources). Is there something that I might have inadvertently misconfigured somewhere that might cause that?

It can be overridden via the timefmt field in individual recipes -- presumably Harper's does that.
