Greetings folks,
It has been a while since my last post and have some news. I came across The PRS-505 being sold at BJ's Wholesale Club for the price of $259 USD. The device did have a small display and was being sold with cover and car charger.
No version of software was mentioned on the display item.

Thanks for the tip, Spartacus2112. By this time, it's almost certainly the most current software/firmware, but it doesn't really matter all that much if it's somehow not: it's just a matter of upgrading.

I was just over at BJ's in Middletown, RI during lunch and saw it over there as well. I wonder if/when BJ's will have the 700 available.

Just for Information, Dell who was selling the Reader for $260 has raised the price back to to $299 while B&H have dropped their price to $275. As has J&R to $270.
