koreader's .sdr folder sync through calibre?

Hello,

anybody thought to sync koreader .sdr folder to/from calibre so all highlights and settings can be stored and restored back as books moved to/from calibre?

As the vast majority of people developping KOReader don't use calibre, I don't think it will happen soon. It will require a "calibre koreader" specific plugin... which would be nice, btw.

There are already a number of "calibre koreader" specific plugins. Not sure what would be needed, or how you see this working. In any case it sounds like a good issue to raise as a feature request (FR) at Github.

Thanks Ken for suggestion. Do you know where I can find any koreader calibre plugin? I may try to extend/modify ?

Both calibre and KOReader provide for extending or adding functions to the programs. KOReader has a "calibre companion" plugin and has included calibre compatibility in other functions such as a calibre metadata search,and local calibre catalog OPDS support. There are also other programs developed to work with Highlights.
