How do I search/download catalog?

Can someone explain how to do a simple SEARCH by either author or title on this site? The only options I see are "Browse Latest Uploads" -- the SEARCH box in the upper right-hand corner of the site keeps bumping me back to the Forums page. ALL I want to do is see if some of the Classics my mother loves are available.

If you're on the "Browse latest uploads" page, you will see on the right, on the title bar just above the list of ebooks, a "Search E-Books" link. This will pull-down a little input box into which you can type your search term to search for the desired ebook.
