New Freebie from Tor
Tor are giving away another free novel -- Spaceman Blues by Brian Francis Slattery. http://www.tor.com/index.php?option=...w=blog&id=7457

It's apparently *not* the first of a series, but a stand-alone novel, and is apparently "a literary retro-pulp science-fiction-mystery-superhero novel", which sounds rather fun!

If only my iLiad weren't away being repaired, I'd start reading immediately.

Yes, it's website only now. The freebies by email were promotions for the website (obviously they didn't work too well! ), which seems to be giving away one novel a month, plus short stories weekly. It's actually worth a look if you're into SF & fantasy, there are some very good articles and discussions, and surprisingly little promotion of their own books.
