For Europeans the Sony 505 costs the same in the U.K. then in the U.S.!

Imagine you can buy direct in the U.S. or the U.K. - vacations, business trip, you name it - and you are from the Euro land!

Let’s talk about the official price, no specials, online lower prices and the likes, the official price is, U.S. 299 dollars U.K. 199 pounds.

Buying today in the U.S.: 1 € - 1,3634 $
The Sony would cost you 219,3047 € (299/1,3634)

Buying today in the U.K.: 1€ - 0.7728 £
The Sony would cost you 220,0899 € (199/0,7728)

And remember the price in the U.K. includes VAT and the one the U.S. does not, and also the in the U.K. you will get an European warranty.

Hate to be picky but correcting the maths error:

Buying today in the U.K.: 1€ - 0.7728 £
The Sony would cost you 257.5 € (199/0,7728)

You are not picky, but completely correct!
My BIG mistake!!!

It's 257,5052 € as you say.

Just if you are a company/professional and can recover the VAT you will get: 219,1599 € (257,5052/1,175).

Once more my apologies for the mistake.
