I just placed my order for a Blue Sony 505 Reader last night. I'm excited to get the unit next week and already have some books waiting on a memory card.

I'll have to keep an eye out for a Chicago meet up one of these days.

Hiya, rhewes! I'm from the far western parts of Chicago too --- Aurora, actually. I decided on a Kindle, for the ease of acquiring books. Such as the book I bought a weekend ago, *during* dinner at a restaurant. The sample for the book was great, so I bought the book and kept reading.

Anyway -- welcome, and check out all the books hand-formatted here by MobileRead people!
