103 Arthur C. Clarke short stories available for purchase from Sony
I just recieved this email.
The short stories are avalable now. I actually have an original typescript by Arthur C. Clark - NOT a ribbon copy. As an historical note, he uses the "N" word in this story. The story is from his Tales From The White Hart. Sony is celebrating his long life. Don Last edited by Dr. Drib; 09-19-2008 at 03:15 PM. Reason: corrected a number of factual errors |

Good eye, Dr. Dribbles. I just now saw this. The 103 short stories are available from Sony for $1.99 each: http://ebookstore.sony.com/author/816/11/81611.html

I see - thanks. I don't see this as surprising. Certainly in this country the word only seemed to become "offensive" in something like the 1970s. Up to that time it was a normal everyday word and wasn't used with any insulting intent.

I think it ranks here as perhaps the most offensive word anyone could use. Few that spout "the f-word" with ease would even consider using "the n-word". Although I understand that among many blacks it now used with ease by some which terribly offends many others. Very curious.

People like Eddy Murphy seem to use it in every other sentence
