Cyprien Bérard: Die Blutsauger. Anonyme und gekürzte deutsche Übersetzung. Erschienen bei Gottfried Basse in Quedlinburg und Leipzig, 1821.

Es handelt sich um eine Fortsetzung von John William Polidori's Der Vampyr.

Die französische Originalversion von Cyprien Bérard "Lord Ruthwen Ou Les Vampires" (2 Bde. 1820) erschien anonym, enthielt aber ein allgemein gehaltenes Vorwort von Charles Nodier. Da dieser bereits im Vorjahr das sehr erfolgreiche Drama "Le Vampire" veröffentlicht hatte, wurde der anonyme Roman zunächst ebenfalls Nodier zugeschrieben.
