Importing azw3 books to Kindle from calibre quit working
I have imported very many books from Calibre to the Kindle Paperwhite in AZW3 format. Now the book imports show in the Kindle Drive documents folder but they do not show up on the Kindle. If I convert the books from AZW3 format to mobi they show up on the Kindle. This just began. I deleted the files that did not load from the document folder and tried restarting the Kindle several times. Still no luck.

The instructions in the manual solved the problem as I had tried that. There is evidently a glitch in the Kindle Paperwhite.
A strange situation is that I can again transfer a book from calibre that I previously had on the Kindle and it will not load unless I reconvert from azw3 to mobi or vice versa. Oh well, things have a way of clearing up on there own. The Kindle keyboard was a much more reliable e reader than the paperwhite. Thanks for the reply |
