What's your favourite app for epubs?

I love my new Boox Note, but I don't really like the default ebook reading app. It lacks some basic functions that many other reading apps have, so I was thinking about trying some of them. I downloaded Moon+ and it seems nice, but since I come from a Kindle I don't really know other good apps for epubs. Any suggestion? Thanks everyone! |

It lacks, for example, epub3 support, sharing options for annotations, hyphenation in other languages than english (I'm italian and if I read italian text the hyphenation is wrong) and it also fails to display correctly many pictures (jpgs) embedded in the epubs. These are the first problems I noticed. Last edited by bongio; 04-30-2018 at 03:28 PM. |

For Koreader, you can find the last nightly version here: http://build.koreader.rocks/download/nightly/ |

Hello, I like pocketbook app. it maintains the original layout of the book, and this is what I search in an epub reader. I came from MoonReader and Alreader, both very good, but they don't respect the original layout of the books, or at least i was not able to set them up correctly. |

Besides that none of the readers respect the original layout of the book, included Pocketbook. In the test I did, the best options were FBReader and Koreader for Note compared with the rest and I tested mostly all readers.

It is, but you can't install it directly from the Play Store as it's not available for devices with Android 4.0.4. but you can download the apk and install it without any problems. It's true that no reader fully respects the original layout of the epubs, as citytrader said, but pocketbook is one of the best readers doing this (IMHO). It's also true that general menus are not readable, but I found a workaround: I downloaded the app in my mobile phone, set it up, exported the configuration (it's an option of the reader) and imported in my T68 pocketbook. After the first setup you don't need that menu anymore... best regards |

https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=240617 Can't recall the exact process now, but I was able to get Koreader up and running on my Max1 through following various instructions I found on the thread.
