Archive Organization on oasis

For the Oasis, are the books in your archive organized in any way? If only the books you have downloaded are organized I would need to keep them all on my device just to be able to find them. My ideal would to have the archive organized by category (and ideally but I know that is not happening, subcategories) so I could easily find them to download. Otherwise I will continue to keep all the books downloaded and organized and keep wifi turned off and my archive empty.

Yes, if your device is synced with Amazon then books will remain in their collections even if you remove them from your Oasis. You will be able to see them in the "All" view.

Only the oldest Kindle devices and the Kindle for PC/Mac apps do not support cloud collections.

Added: This applies to books downloaded to the Kindle online from Amazon, not those sideloaded via USB.

You can also create and manage your collections at www.amazon.com/myx (Manage Your Content and Devices). You may need to use a computer browser, mobile device browsers (such as Safari on iOS) don’t seem to show Collections functionality (but of course the Kindle app can manage them). The web interface only works with Amazon content, not Documents.

Thank you. I have a kindle keyboard and the non downloaded books were not organized at all so the archive was useless to me. I might get an oasis for that alone. I did set up collections on manage my content. That was a pain with a couple thousand books.
