understanding .kepub hyphenation
Good day.
My KA1 contains a hyphenDicts folder that, unsurprisingly, has several hyphenation dictionaries. I was wondering if the KA1 uses them to hyphenate the .kepubs automatically or it is the user who has to "perform some action" for this to happen. Thank you for your attention. |

The hyphenation is done by the device. It will happen if you have justification turned on either in the book or in the reading settings. There are some options in the stylesheet you can use to turn it off.
If you need more details, I suggest you do a search. There has been a lot of discussion of how the epub and kepub renderers do hyphenation. |
