Save to disk - multiple copies

Hi all, I've been playing with the save to disk function and the templates, And I'm not entirely sure that what I want to do is possible.

I'm saving files in folders based on Author, but when a title has multiple authors, I want to save it multiple times. for example "we few - John Ringo & David Weber" I would like saved in a John Ringo Folder AND saved in a David Weber folder.

I've worked out how to extract just 1 author, but I have no idea how to save the same title twice. I think the answer may lie somewhere in the eval or template functions, but I can't find real world examples (and it's entirely possible calibre just doesn't have this functionality). Any assistance gratefully received.

Calibres Library structure (folder names) is Fixed (see the FAQ at the Help site)

If you use the Librarian (the main GUI) , you can select by any or All easily using the Tag Browser or simply type in the search.

If you are sending to a device (external folder), I don't think this is easily doable.

A single save to disk will only ever save a single copy of a book. You can run save to disk twice with different templates. Use the search

authors:#>1

to do then second save for only books with more than one author.
