NIGHT MODE H20 HOW TO?
Ni hao, everybody. Hi !

How to enable the night mode on Kobo H2O (white text, black background)? I've searched high and low but not succeeded yet.

Thanks a lot. It was much easier than I expected. Although i got a bit scared when I turned it off then on again (the screen went black and nothing else would happen for minutes). Then I turned it off once again, turned it on and voilà... the background was black as I always wished.

I had also emailed kobo team for help. They would always say I couldn’t manage to change it on kobo H2O. I would always reply : BUT THIS IS THE MAIN REASON WHY I BOUGHT AS E-READER, AND I SAW A GIRL USING IT WITH INVERTED COLORS AT THE AIRPORT. OF COURSE THERE MUST BE A WAY”.

Vous devez activer l'affichage des dossiers cachés, il suffit de google pour obtenir des instructions à ce sujet en utilisant le système d'exploitation que vous utilisez
ex. Afficher les fenêtres des dossiers cachés ou afficher les dossiers cachés OS X
ouvrir ce fichier avec soit le bloc-notes ++ sur Windows, ou textedit sur OS X et ajouter le suivant
[FeatureSettings]
InvertScreen = true
il est possible que [FeatureSettings] existe déjà, s'il suffit d'ajouter invertScreen = true en dessous.
Enregistrez les modifications, puis éjectez le Kobo. Vous devrez peut-être redémarrer pour que cela prenne effet.
Pour annuler cela, il suffit de supprimer les lignes de texte que vous avez ajoutées à ce fichier de configuration et répétez les étapes ci-dessus.

And if you use the Chrome browser a simple right click in the text will give you the option to translate.

Toggle would be nice though.

I don't know, when you do this , it stay always in night mode. no Toggle possibility.

If I remember correctly, you can toggle the nightmode via the settings page, when you run the device in debug mode. But, this might have some undesirable side effects.
