Two questions about viewing PDFs
1. Is there a way to turn off scroll mode as a default, so that I don't have to change this for every single book?
2. I fiddled a bit with the crop settings, but I realized that it just made it worse. How do I turn it back to uncropped? |

Many settings can be made the default by long pressing on the selection. Long press on the Scroll Mode off selection and you will be offered the option to set it as the default. With a PDF open, swipe down from the top of the screen to get both top and bottom menus. The Scroll Mode option is under the two column tab of the bottom menu.
Just leave the "Page Crop" set to auto, and use the "Switch zoom mode" settings and margin settings to get the page look you want. Luck; Ken |

Thanks! Now I can continue reading my book without the format changing every other page.
