Conversion to epub. Select lang.
Would it be possible to have this tweak? both in titlepage and in the rest of xhtml files.

You should be able to do it trivially via search and replace setting sin the conversion dialog. Something like

OK. Kovid, but in the titlepage.xhtml file it does not work, remains intact xml: lang ="en"

Yeah but the titlepage.xhtml contains no text, so lang is irrelevant.
