Help Csv export settings
Hello, greetings to all those present in the forum, and I apologize for any errors, I am Italian and translate with google translator. I wanted to ask if anyone can help me do an operation with calibers. I also want to export the caliber library in a format, also containing links not only to images but also to ebooks. Currently I can export all the information but I miss the link of the book. Example the link of the cover even if written with cover, but exists of the book no. Is it possible to export the epub or mobi or pdf file link etc? Can you change cover with the name of the book?

Thank you for answering. So there are no solutions? Not even an alternative solution to do this?

Unfortunately the person who wrote the catalogue feature is no longer active, so it is more or less frozen. You could change the source for your own usage. Maybe Kovid would consider adding a --format_links option to the calibredb list command. You could post an Enhancement request here ==>> Bugs : calibre BR |

Well You can create custom column using template. There is template for format path. Then you can include that column when generating catalog.

You can use whatever lookup name and column heading you want. Note that there may be some delay in starting calibre as all values need to be calculated. |

First setup a custom column as shown in the linked post (Preferences -> Interface -> Add your own columns) and after restarting calibre you can use the cmd string:
calibredb list --fields=authors,title,*pathfilename >testpath.txt in your command line window. In the post you will find a link to calibre's help section too. Remark: I just recognize there was a little typo in my linked post. author need to be change to authors Last edited by Divingduck; 01-20-2018 at 08:32 AM. |

But can the images replace the links from cover to book name?
Now the link that is saved in the csv is path \ cover.jpg. Can you replace cover.jpg with the path name? |

Not sure if I understand your question correct. Lets see.
Within the calibre library the cover file is always called cover.jpg. You can't change or modify this as it is a structural convention of the library. In case you want to copy all book and cover files into an other file structure you can do what ever you want. In this case you need post processing your csv file or the cover file outside calibre. |
