Navigation Error in Reader
I've been encountering problems with EPUBs purchased from Google Play.
When I advance from one chapter to the next, I get an error: calibre, version 3.14.0 ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>IOError</b>:[Errno 2] No such file or directory: u'C:\\Users\\Micha\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\calibre_ 4hfdu1\\up28xv_ebook_iter\\OPS\\c03.xhtml' calibre 3.14 [64bit] embedded-python: True is64bit: True Windows-10-10.0.16299-SP0 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE') ('Windows', '10', '10.0.16299') Python 2.7.12+ Windows: ('10', '10.0.16299', 'SP0', u'Multiprocessor Free') Interface language: None Successfully initialized third party plugins: DeDRM (6, 0, 8) && Consolidate All Library Metadata (2, 0, 32) && View Manager (1, 4, 3) && Barnes & Noble (1, 2, 14) && Library Codes (1, 0, 30) && Goodreads (1, 1, 13) && Kobo Books (1, 3, 0) && Generate Cover (1, 5, 21) && EpubCheck (0, 1, 2) && Fantastic Fiction Adults (1, 0, 4) && Quality Check (1, 9, 11) && Extract ISBN (1, 4, 4) && Ex Libris (1, 0, 19) && Clean Metadata (0, 0, 6) Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\viewer\documentview.py", line 1321, in keyPressEvent File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\viewer\documentview.py", line 1342, in handle_key_press File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\viewer\documentview.py", line 1087, in next_page File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\viewer\main.py", line 1074, in next_document File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\viewer\main.py", line 789, in load_path File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\viewer\documentview.py", line 937, in load_path File "site-packages\calibre\ebooks\oeb\display\webview.py", line 58, in load_html IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: u'C:\\Users\\Micha\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\calibre_ 4hfdu1\\up28xv_ebook_iter\\OPS\\c03.xhtml' The operating system is Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299 |

That inidicates some program on your computer is deleting temporary files that calibre is using. Typical suspects are "performance enhancers", temp file cleaners, etc. If you cannot figure out what program is the culprit, you can work around it by telling calibre to use some custom folder as a temporary directory, by setting the CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR environment variable, as described here: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/cus...ment-variables
