I have the latest firmware on my Oasis 2 but there is no option to make the font bold. Do I have to enable it somewhere?

Are your books sideloaded or from Amazon? Bold works with sideloaded books only if they're in azw3 format, not mobi.

If you're using Calibre, you should be able to convert them to AZW3 format (I assume anyhow.)

EDIT: Able to confirm this with a ManyBooks ePub book. Converted to .mobi and the bold setting wasn't available. Then converted to AZW3 and the bold setting was there. So all my .mobi books need to move to AZW3, I guess.

(I tested this with a Kindle Basic 8th Generation, but I would imagine it would be the same on the Kindles with the bold setting.)
