Charge it up 100% then write down the time date, Use the same settings you always use...happy reading! When it dies then you know how long the charge lasts for you!

It depends on you settings, wifi/light/font size. Mine would get 5-7 hours. 7 when I turned wifi off and had light at 10. It was more in the 5 hour range on regular basis. But neither my bladder nor my stomach could handle non stop 5 hour reading without at least one stop. And that is when I would put it in cover, set aside, do my things, make tea, etc. It chargers in the cover very quickly in between.
I haven't done a timing anymore in some time. I got mine when it came out. What was that, May 2016?. So its possible that time has gone down a bit, but I don't know. I had also been reading more in the cover, because I read more sitting at a table so put it in a stand. |

A bit over 4 hours for me, with wifi/3g off. With it on, maybe 2 hrs.
Note I keep the kindle frontlight fairly low and read with a lamp beside me. |
