i follow al steps and cant see files copied in douments folder, and all books is deleted, i try hard reset (facctory reset, and kindle update to the 5.12.4 :S, register pw3 and an see all my books, (no on my device, only for click and download :S ¿?¿?¿ )
I do everything again step by step and same problem in

"Part 5: Install some goodies

We will put some basics onto your kindle now that it's been uncaged

i install Update_KUALBooklet_hotfix_v2.7.23_install.bin and can end all steps !!!! cheer !!!!! ty all !!!!!!

my son have other paperwhite 3, no have free pop'up, if i do you will be able to use the screensaver hack, or cant use in device of my son ?

sorry my englsih is very badly (have advertising in pw3 of my son )
