The Pirate and I by Katharine Ashe (Fantastic Fiction) is a novella in her Devil's Duke series of f/m Regency historical romance with this installment apparently taking place in Scotland, featuring an unusual reunion between a London perfume shop assistant attending a professional gathering, who by chance encounters a man from neighbouring printer's shop whom she had a crush upon who disappeared and has changed greatly in the meantime, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher HarperCollins' Avon Impulse imprint.

This is apparently a HarperCollins BookPerk Free Friday special, and probably good throughout the weekend, if not longer. Apparently the author does historical research of some sort in her day job, and incorporated a lot of detail about the period perfume industry, if you're interested.
