There's been yet another cosmetic version of Touch Lux 3 released, a golden one

It has the same screen (6" 1024 × 758) and the same RAM (256 MB) as the regular Touch Lux 3. The only important material difference is 8 GB internal storage versus 4 in the regular model. This golden version is thus a similar purely cosmetic edition of Touch Lux 3 like the crimson version was.

I'd say personally that an increase in storage from 4GB to 8GB is a lot more than "cosmetic"; it's a very useful enhancement for those needing a lot of storage space.

For me personally, increase in RAM would be beyond cosmetic. I have owned a Pocketbook with 256 MB RAM. Some pdf files took literally minutes to open and to turn pages. They did it, for sure, but it's not much of a reading experience when every pageturn took several minutes.
