Floyd is determined to live up to his name, but being a straightshooter in Bendix County isn’t easy considering the tough way of life.

Things are even more difficult for deputy sheriff Floyd by the fact that his best friend, Dave Marsden, is in jail for murder.

His loyalties are well and truly tested – stick by his long-time friend, who insists his innocence, or live by the badge and keep Marsden captive?

But Westerman knows that to be a good lawman in the Wild West, you have to be tough.

Not only is Marsden in the jail, but so is one of the infamous Tolliver gang.

When Tolliver and his men bust their outlaw out, they also release Marsden and Floyd’s troubles grow.
