Mike Ripley Angel series

Does anyone know where I can buy books from this series in epub format (other than from Kobo). I'm in the UK.

Maybe email one of the Telos Publishing directors and ask? All their website mentions from what I can see is that ebooks are available at "select" sellers.

If you don't mind me asking, why other than Kobo?
They sell them all at less than £4 each.

You do not have to download them from Kobo using your Glo HD. You can download them as regular ePub (in case getting kepup is worrying you).

Because I bought them from Kobo and the files are corrupted. Kobo so far can't fix the issue,.

I download from the Kobo website to my laptop and import to Calibre.
If there's another way I'd like to know it.

Buy from Amazon. Send to "Kindle for PC" (or "Kindle for Mac"). Transfer to Calibre. Convert to ePub.

Easy.

According to the Kobo store, the books have Adobe DRM. Is ADE not downloading them and opening them? When you add them to calibre, are the DRM removal plugins installed and working?

You can also use the Kobo desktop application to download them. Then use the appropriate DRM removal tool to copy them to your calibre library and remove Kobo's DRM.

I have tried downloading direct from Kobo (my usual way) and also via the Kobo app. I have downloaded a fresh version of ADE onto another PC and downloaded there.
Every download of the same 3 books has the same error, which is then replicated when I copy to other devices.

The fourth book I bought at the same time is fine.

Sounds like they used page breaks instead of paragraph breaks.

If you can remove the DRM and open with sigil, post a couple of lines of the code here and we should be able to give you a search/replace to fix it (or it may just need the css tweaking).

Not so easy - how do I transfer Kindle books to Calibre?

From Kindle for PC? Easy! When you download a book in Kindle for PC, it stores it in a folder called "My Kindle Contents" that's in "My Documents". Just drag the file from there onto the Calibre window.

No longer works (see threads on here regarding Kindle file types).
