Glo Help Email? Dropbox? Gdrive?

I need help. Is there any way I can download epub through email / dropbox / gdrive to my kobo reader? Because I dont always have my laptop with me to sideload the book.

Tried open email / dropbox / gdrive through kobo browser but nothing happened when I clicked download

Not at the moment. I don't know of any Cloud sites that work with their outdated browser. The last 4.4 firmware broke Dropbox. It still works with the 3.x firmware though.

So it means if I rolled back to 3.x I can use dropbox?

Yes but you will lose new features added in the 4.x firmware. I'm not sure how to downgrade.

My Kobo updated and Gmail works with 4.5 but you must click the attachment's icon.

Dropbox is completely broke even the direct links (dl.dropboxusercontent) work around that still worked in 4.4 no longer does in 4.5 Gmail seems to be the only option I have found.

I'm sorry, you said that the browser in firmware 4.4 would not download any books from Dropbox. Now you are stating you could download them? There is a significant difference between not being able to download at all, and not being able to download from the link on a web page.

As to 4.5, you've already been told the browser doesn't download the files, so you shouldn't be surprised. But, I am absolutely shocked to hear you can download from Gmail. Though, I'm almost as surprised that the "seriously outdated browser" can navigate Gmail to the point where you can even attempt to download an attachment.

Im using 4.2 now because I wanted to avoid the hours count error at 4.3 and battery drained issue at 4.4. If 4.5 really can download epub from gmail then I will seriously considering to upgrade my firmware

Yes it works. I got the OTA update yesterday still have to patch but it loads Gmail's old site not the new one It will look a little off but it works.

I have noticed however 4.5 seems to be draining faster the battery. I won't be able to say if it's due to not being patched or the first sync. I plan to charge it, then restart it and see if that fixes it.

I'll stay in hope Dropbox will be fixed soon in another firmware update. The options are so limited in getting books on to your Kobo now.
