Is there a way to ADD A NEW BOOK via dropbox after syncing is setup?

I read on my android tablet & phone.

Dropbox syncing for position/highlights/notes is set up and working.
Option to copy to dropbox after opening is enabled.

I copied a new epub to the /Dropbox/apps/ebooks directory ;; but how do I get moon reader to open it for the first time?

Also, what are the easiest ways to send a .epub to my android devices? I thought it would be using dropbox? I'm seeking a duplicate to sending a device to my kindle devices via email.

UPDATE:
I moved my calibre library to my dropbox... then am using calibre companion to download books I want. Much better!

Question now: Is there any point to having moon reader backup the book to dropbox when I open it on moon reader? It seems superfluous now that my entire library is already backed up via dropbox.

I keep the books I might read soon in Dropbox and I use Moon+ to download them. Or I use the Dropbox app to download them. Either works just fine. I do sync through Dropbox but I never have had Moon+ save a book to Dropbox. When I decide to add a book that I might read soon I'll send it to Dropbox from my PC and then I can get it easily to Moon+.
