I have a large library of PDFs I exported from my Kindle collection but each of them are blank after about 1/4 of the way through. These same PDFs look great on the PC. Opened them up from the SD card and can read all the way to the end, and I don't see anything unusual at the broken place. When I convert the same files to EPUB they work.
My STR is non-rooted, firmware version 1.2.1, and I just did a factory reset to try to figure this out. I used the Calibre DeDRM plugin and exported in Nook-compatible PDF format. Happens on either the internal memory or an SD card. Happens no matter the file name; I tried just lowercase deleteme.pdf. This 223 page 17MB PDF of the B&N user guide for the Nook Color works fine. So I suspect it's something in Calibre but not sure what. Ideas? Do I need to convert the entire library to EPUB? Last edited by cdevidal; 07-08-2017 at 05:55 PM. |
