What has my Kobo?
Hi to all, I want to ak you if you know what happened to my kobo,the screen doesn't working even after a reset from the reset button,but he doesn't fallin any way,I don't think the screen is broken...can he pass in warranty in your opinion?

I agree that it doesn't look like a broken screen substrate.
The lines running through the screen look like it might be a problem with the controller or the connection to the screen, both should fall under warranty I believe. |

Tell Wgat to give back your Kobo.
![]() I agree that it looks like a screen controller issue. I had a screen controller problem with a Sony Reader 505 that started off with a thin line running across the screen roughly in the middle. It did get worse and the 505 was a goner. |

Looking at the 2nd picture I'd say broken substrate. If you look at the lines just above the info box, on the right side of the screen they stop and it appears there is faint diagonal line from above right to below and left of this point. If those lines continued right across to the right side I'd agree with controller issue.
The device might not have been dropped, but IMHO it's slight twisting of the device that is more likely to be the cause of a broken substrate. |

It would be good to see a photo of the device on a text page to get a better look at it.
