2.85.1 check missed an error
I was checking a book yesterday and the check missed an error. I had a double semicolon in the CSS and the check did not pick up on this. ADE would have ignored the CSS with this error. epubcheck did catch it.

IIRC double or indeed any number of consecutive semi-colons in CSS files are not errors in CSS level 2.1 and 3
And entering the following CSS in the W3C validation service confirms my memory Code:
body {
color: red;;
background: green
}
So I have to conclude this is just epubcheck being useless as usual. |

Agreed. A double semi-colon would simply indicate an empty element, which is not an error.
