Transfering books
My daughter will give me a list of books she wants. I will buy them and load them into Calibre. Then she will bring her tablet over and we will transfer her books to her via wireless device connection.

She is moving across the country, but wants me to continue to purchase and organize the books for her. I don't have the knowledge to set up my computer as a server so that she can connect that way.

If I got a cloud account, Can I use Calibre's Connect to folder to upload just the books I just purchased for her. If I did this, could she point her CC to this folder to get her books.

Or could I just copy the Calibre folder and paste in into dropbox like I was backing up to a external drive. Would she be able to point CC to this folder and download her book with CC this way?

If not, what would be an option for her to be able to get her books with CC?

This should work fine. I have my Calibre library in DropBox and can access books with CC just fine this way. The top category when I connect this way is "newest" so it should make it easy for her to find the books she wants.
