Why generate two records when import two formats of the same book?
The `Adding Books` setting are:
http://onuia4d7l.bkt.clouddn.com/201...0511171028.png The complete config folder, `..\Users\xx\AppData\Roaming\calibre\`, is uploaded in attachment. The attachment also has 2 books for test purpose, each with 2 kinds of formats, UVZ and PDF. The filenames of the two formats of the same book are identical, and only the extension is different. When we test to import them, one will generate 2 records, another will merge to 1 record. I do not understand why difference? And how to fix it? I mean they all should merge to 1 record, right? Need help. Thanks!

I've deleted the copyright books you uploaded. Please do not do that again.
To report a problem involving copyright books, make a private bug report using the calibre bug reporting system, and attach the books to that. Then only Kovid can see them. I just downloaded the books and looked at the titles.
If the books are empty of content, of course you can upload here. |

On my system those files will not even import since their filenames contain non-ascii characters in some weird encoding, probably ISO-8859-1
