Too Deep for Words: A Civil War Novel by Andrea Boeshaar is the 2nd novel in her Shenandoah Valley Saga series of historical drama with strong f/m romantic elements set during the US Civil War, this one starring a briefly-married young woman who may be a widow once her newlywed soldier husband has gone missing in battle, who must deal with incorporating her estranged sister and her husband's wounded best friend into her life, even as she seeks to discover the fate of her lost husband, free for a limited time courtesy of Christian publisher Kregel.

We've previously received the 1st-in-series (a standalone with different characters, from the looks of it) as a freebie as well: A Thousand Shall Fall, and as with the previous, the author appears to have done a good deal of research and included a nice historical note at the beginning about various real persons, places, and events referenced in the story.
