Nissan Reliability

I'm giving some thought to replacing my current car (2004 Toyota Matrix) by a newer hatchback. One option I'm looking at is a Nissan Versa Note, possibly a demo, or a recent used model.

I'm curious as to what people think of the reliability of Nissan; I have been delighted with the reliability of the Matrix and how the finish has lasted.

I have a 2013 Nissan Frontier club cab which I bought new. I have had no problems with it (other than a self imposed dented bumper).

I once had a Nissan Maxima. I didn't have anything untoward with it.

I had a Skyline GTR between 1997-2001. Reliability was OK, but it needed frequent tuning. And it was always thirsty, tank too small for Australia. Diff was noisy. Quick point to point, but not a town car. My SO wouldn't drive it.
