I'm Olivier. I live in France (Rouen, Normandie)
I'm a retired computer and database administrator.
I've always spend a lot of my free time reading so now I'm retired...
I love thrillers,adventures and historic novels, fantastic and sci-fi litterature
About ten years ago I turned to e-book readers when they became affordable.
What a revolution! Carrying the equivalent of several trunk-loads of paper books in one's pocket!
I started with a Kobo (disappointed), moved to a Cybook Opus, then I bought a Cybook Odyssey which permits to read in the dark. My next one will probably be a Cybook Ocean (larger screen, better definition). But as my Odyssey is in good shape... No use changing a winning team.
I discovered Calibre a few years back and though I never used it for administrating my (large) collection of e-books, I converted a lot of my ancient mobi to epub.
What I do most with Calibre is re-saving epubs after editing the metadatas.
I think if all the software sold at such incredible prices was the quality of Calibre, it would certainly make the job of administrator a lot easier.

As I noticed your are a "Grand Sorcerer" you may be of some advice.
I have a problem I cannot solve about Calibre but I don't know on which thread to ask my question.
Any advice?
