Developing a command line-driven pipeline mostly for technical documentation, but also for an upcoming novel. Current toolset is markdown -> pandoc -> kindlegen but still experimenting.

P.S. wouldn't it be cool to have a pandoc section under (Ebook Software)?

IF your product becomes commercially successful and develops a large following, then (and only then) would we consider a forum for it.

Is Calibre commercially successful? How do you define "commercial success" of a piece of [free] software?
Have a look at Pandoc here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandoc
http://pandoc.org/
https://github.com/jgm/pandoc
it DOES seem to have a "large following" ;-)

The original poster tomcam is not developer of Pandoc - he is developing a "command line-driven pipeline" for books and is using Pandoc as one of tools in a chain of tools for creating those books.

Yeah, what Kacir says! Pandoc, most definitely not created by me, is a heavily used Swiss Army Knife of the ePub/Markdown/LaTEX/HTML world.

What also helps is when you can get a level of discussion hzppening in one of the other forums here. Most of the forum you see here have been created after a substantial amount of discussions concerning a topic have taken place on MobileRead.
