Smile Patch for Hacked Up Reader in mrpackages
I found the Hackedupreader 0.4.1 installer did not work in mrpackages, so just extract them and put install.pps in right place, and pack again.

To use this, just extract and put the bin file in mrpackages dir, and helper->install.

I just repack them and make it works in MR Package Installer.

Is that what it was previously packaged with?
And what version of KindleTool did you use?
(The version would define what models the kindle5 option included.)

If you check this forum, I don't think you will find any of our model-locked packages just "thrown out there" with out a description of how and what it the packaging is intended for.
So I am asking these questions to get that information into the thread.
Although you should, if following forum practice, edit all of this information into your first post.

Yes, you are right, it should support all touchscreen devices.

Translation:
Packaging was not done with current KindleTool.
PW3, KT3, Oasis and their variations are missing.
(I was going to test on the PW3 and the KT3 this morning, but I can't do that with this packaging.)

Note 1: The uninstall package was not re-packaged, there is no uninstall package provided.
I suppose cytown has not (yet) tried to uninstall his own package.
That sort of limits anyone who wants to do an: install, test and remove of this add-in in support of cytown's work.

Note 2: At odds with the title of this thread, there is no patch released here and there are no open pull requests at either bhaak or varnie's repositories.
There should be at least one of: An included patch, a pull request against the public repositories or this modified version should be in a forked repository of one of the release repositories.

Note 3: At this time, the current KindleTool is missing support for at least four Kindle models.
Anyone serious about re-packaging our add-ins really, really needs to update KindleTool first, otherwise they are just spinning their wheels.
