Thumbs up Free (Kindle) Zeitstopp by Peter Schattschneider [Austrian German Sci-Fi Collection]

Zeitstopp (Time Stop) by Austrian author Peter Schattschneider (ISFDB, Wikipedia DE), who has twice been a recipient of the prestigious Kurd-Lasswitz Prize (Wikipedia) but is generally not available in translation, is a vintage collection of his German-language science fiction stories, containing 10 tales from the 1970s-80s on themes of interstellar travel, artificial intelligence, time manipulation and more, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press.

This was originally published in 1982 by Suhrkamp as #76 in their Phantastische Bibliothek series. It's actually really nice of Endeavour, a British publisher, to go to the trouble of e-printing probably middling-obscure old foreign-language genre books for which there's probably a really limited new-sale market.

Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK and pretty much everywhere else worldwide that Amazon sells, since this is being done via their KDP Select exclusive or else program)
