Thank you for the effort. This wiki pages will certainly be helpful for those needing help. And also for those trying to help.
I have two short remarks. The first is with reference to the mini. I just want to bring to mind that one can also manually factory reset it. It involves removing the back cover. I do however not recall the details. The other is with reference to Aura One & Aura Edition Two. Reading "If a factory reset didn't solve your problem," I feel a little confused. Isn't the outcome of a GUI triggered factory and of a manual factory reset the same? If it is the same, I would have expected something like "If for some reasons you cannot trigger a factory reset with the help of the GUI." Last edited by tshering; 02-19-2017 at 04:57 AM. |

I will admit the wording is straight from the Kobo website. I will look at it and clarify. And yes, the website does include the other reset. I'll add that in

Looking at the two pages, should we actually have one? All the devices can be factory reset using the Device info page. They can also be factory reset with the "restart and nickel doesn't start four times" method. The manual method is where they differ. At the moment, there are three methods: the two buttons method (Touch, Glo, Aura HD, Aura), the "tap the corners" method (Mini, Aura H2O, Glo HD, Touch 2) and the new "connect to PC" (Aura ONE and Aura Edition 2). A single page with the first two methods at the top and then the different methods by group of device will save a lot of duplication.
