Sort by New Covers - Those not yet updated to Books??

I've spent a few hours updating about 300 book covers, small images to larger ones. Since I don't remember which books I upgraded images on, I would have to update the covers for all 3,000 of my books.

Is there a way to sort for only those covers that have been changed, and not yet updated to the book? I can use Polish Books to update just the covers.

Not a bullet proof solution:

The Quality Check PI:Check ePub Structur: <various Jacket checks>

I use the last_Modified column. Preferences: Ad your own columns: <apply a tick,move position>
That shows when ANY work that affects that book RECORD
(lots of small things bump this datestamp)

AZBooks - in Book List click on a Column Header, e.g. Title, select Show column->Modified.

That will add the last_modified date to the list as column Modified, click on the 'Modified' header to sort most recent to the top (you may need to click on it twice).

Select all the books from the top of the list down to just before you started the cover updates, press 'P' for polish and check the update cover option, press enter.

Aside : A button to Mark a book from within the metadata edit dialogue would be useful. Then after an MDE session, one could show Marked books (Ctrl+Shift+M), select them (Ctrl/A), and do bulk operations such as Polish, Save to Disk, Send to Device, etc.

Thanks Red & Ducks. I ended up "Polish" every single book.....because....most all of the books had the same date.

Early in the morning I had updated all titles using Title Case checkbox. I did a bunch of other stuff like using the left pane of the application > right click to Manage Tags, Manage Series, etc.

If the the Modified column had a time stamp like (3:42 PM), that column could have been helpful. I checked and it doesn't seem there is a way to edit that column, or create one that capture actual time of day.

I am about finished, Thanks for all the help. I hope my sisters appreciate this birthday gift. It's a Tab S2 pre-loaded and fully configured with her library and other acounts using OverDrive, Moon + Pro, Neflix, etc.

FTR - you can control how the built-in dates are displayed by setting the appropriate formats in Preferences->Tweaks->Control how dates are displayed, e.g.

Quote:
gui_pubdate_display_format = 'yyyy-MM-dd'
gui_timestamp_display_format = 'yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss'
gui_last_modified_display_format = 'iso'
