I'm not positive this is the correct place for this post, if not please move it to the right place.
I am writing to see if any of the developers has considered implementing Spritz into Calibre? I came across that about a year ago and have been waiting for someone to come up with a Windows e-book program that I could use it with as currently it is only available for certain smart phones. (Ideally at like Amazon to add it to their Kindles, but I'll believe that when I see it!). If you're not familiar with Spritz, it is a cool program to help you read faster. Here is the link: Spritz I hope someone can figure out a way to add this as I would be able to get through books a lot faster! ![]() |

It would have to be multiplatform and able to be embedded as open-source. It looks as though they require signup in order to access a closed SDK.
And Kovid might not be interested in implementing this when there are other things to work on. How much general appeal might there be for this? |

^^This just feels like spam period.
![]() While we are playing the rudeness game, anyway... Someone genuinely wants a feature because they think it would be cool. Just beause you think anyone who disagrees with you is wrong, does not require rudeness. I happen to agree this method is unwarranted hype -- but I don't need to insult people who like it. I don't either have a problem with more options. I may think it won't happen (not in calibre anyway) but that opinion need not go any further than feasibility issues. |
