Hi All.
I am new to this forum so please forgive me for any mistakes I make. I am looking for a plug-in that will help me to fill in the synopsis of each book in my library. I would like something similar to the current "Download metadata and covers" but that maybe uses AI to find the right synopsis automatically. At the moment, using this feature is very hit and miss; I often have to do edit or delete the metadata because the search tool brings back the details of a similarly titled book. I should add that I am disabled so find it very difficult to edit the library manually. Something with some built-in AI might help to reduce errors and the amount of work I need to do. Any suggestions for an existing plug-in? Or maybe something else that might help reduce the workload? Thanks, Paul |

AI produces plausible junk too often. The existing "Download metadata" is as good as it gets and needs manually checked as often the source websites have inaccurate information. Even publisher "blurbs" on the books can be wrong. I've about 9,000 ebooks and about 85% are PD. AI summaries I've seen are often excruciating!

If the AI is implemented by Actual Indians, yes. See the famous chess machine (Mechanical Turk had a small chess playing human hidden in it) and also Amazon Checkout Free stores that used AI. It was people watching video. See how many people Amazon employ for Echo (About 10k) and how many Google employs for their AI. |

@Bollo - There are several AI summarizers, I have not used any of them.
