KA1 slows down

As I'm approaching the end of a book AND the 56% charge level of the battery, my KA1 is gradually slowing very noticeably with its page turns. I've noticed slow downs in the past; however, this is the first time it has occurred to me that it might be due to either being further along in the book or being further toward a lower battery charge (with the latter seeming to be the most logical reason).

Any thoughts, please?

Thanks!

Is it a very long chapter or perhaps some other problem with the book itself?

Low battery should not slow down the device.

f, I just loaded another book without recharging the battery and the page turning is noticeably faster with this book.

No, the chapters weren't long, but there must have been something about the prior book itself... which, by the way, had been loaded by Calibre. This new book was loaded by Adobe Digital Editions.
