Can't update to 5.6.1.1. via MRpi
Hi there,

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I downgraded 5.6.1.1 to 5.3.3, copied KUAL and MRpi, installed hotfix via MRPI and I'm trying to update the firmware via MRPI (copying the bin file to MRpackages folder). After it goes through the supposed installation - it boots back to the 5.3.3 FW. I don't know how to go through it :/

MrPI == Mobileread Package Installer.
Does not mean Amazon Package Installer.
A firmware update is an Amazon Package, not a Mobileread package.

Just follow the directions on the Amazon page you got the firmware from.

There is a clean division of labor here -
We do not install Amazon packages and Amazon does not install our packages.

True that, I thought that to update firmware after the jailbreak you need to use MrPI, my bad. Does it mean that after FW update the kindle remains jailbroken? Once I updated FW, but KUAL stopped booting. Do I just need to reinstall KUAL and the rest of apps?
