restore from original-EPub

has this option been removed, it used to be accessible via right click somewhere but I cannot et it to appear at all in current version.
right click on original-epub just offers copy all

When I right click on "ORIGINAL_XXX" in the list of formats shown below the book cover in the book details pane, one of the options in the pop-up menu is "Restore the XXX format". That's using the 64-bit Calibre 2.73 on Windows 10.

well that's what i thought,
But is the "book details pane" what appears to the right of main book list i.e.that pane that has a picture of the cover, followed by authors, tags, path, format
if I click on format , there, I get only the option to " copy all"

calibre 2.7.2. 64 bit windows 10 have not updated yet.

after trying harder, I found that it works within the "edit metadata" screen,
maybe it always was there and only there & I mis-remembered, but surely restoring a format is not "editing metadata", it is overwriting / creating a file ?

Yes, the book details pane is the one that appears to the right of the library list.

EDIT: Sorry if this is labouring the obvious, but you don't right-click on the word "Formats", but on the name of the actual format you want to restore (eg "ORIGINAL_EPUB" or "ORIGINAL_MOBI").

stumped may perhaps be clicking on the word "Formats" and not on the format name itself. Doing that does indeed give "Copy All".

i see the non clickable word Format, not formats, maybe I have some long forgotten customisation in place. please see my previous picture attachment
if i click where I see epub,original_epub I only get copy all - I could not capture an image with right click active.
oh & if I hover over that , the popup says see all books with format Epub,original_epub
I think we are on the same pane, comparing your pictures with mine, yet different results ?
and both blue Format words seem to be combined into a single link - I cannot right click only on one of them, successfully.
I tested also after deleting epub format from one book , so the only listed format was original_epub - sill all I got was copy all.
I am wondering if I once created a custom column called format, for some forgotten reason - probably to have it display in the main pane, and it is appearing in place of the default formats entry in the details pane.
if so, I am not sure how to track that down
yes , in build your own columns I have an entry called format, and a description of built from other columns...

UPDATE, all solved - I undid what I'd done long ago to book details pane, so that it shows what you guys see, - all good.
I guess the moral is to keep records of customisations !

@HarryT - Copy All will copy the Book Details to the clipboard, Kovid added it a few releases back.

I think I must have cribbed how to make a format column from some older thread, so that I could easily see book formats in the main listing. No idea why I then selected it for the details pane also, probably just confused myself,
