vertical toolbar
Dear all,
is it possible to have the toolbar vertical instead of horizontal? Possibly also choosing if one wants it to the left or to the right of the screen? I tried the "wide" and "narrow" layouts, but the cover browser in the wide layout is really wasting a lot of space, and it seems to me that a "narrow" UI with toolbar on any of the sides would be better in my case (16:9 format, on a relatively small laptop screen). I am aware of the possibility to have small icons, but they are a bit too small to be useful on small displays (and in any case most of the toolbar is then just left empy). Thanks for your help, Andrea. |

To get a vertical toolbar would probably require the toolbar to be dockable, as per the book viewer toolbar. But that raises the problem of what to do if the Icon size is set to None.
If you use a menubar then all functions will operate as simple menu's with no default action for click, and no drop down arrows - simply click and select from a menu. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 11-22-2016 at 08:48 AM. |
