Strange Thumbnails
I am using Aldiko reader on a Nexus 7. I have an issue where some - just a few - of the cover page thumbnails are not displaying correctly. The vast majority are correct. In about a half dozen, though, the thumbnail is very tiny.
I've uploaded a picture. Notice how all the thumbnails are fine except the one in the center row on the left. The cover is there, it is just not full size. I have this on about a half dozen out of over 200. Some have a white background like this one, some have black. All the books have been created the same way - most converted from mobi, as I used to use a Kindle. So it does not seem to be the creation process. I have confirmed the file sizes, and the affected ones are not a smaller resolution than the others - in fact, some are a larger resolution. The covers display fine in calibre - it is only in Aldiko that they do this. I've studied the html code in them as best I can, even making edits here and there but have not found a solution. Any ideas? Thank you! Last edited by TommyA2010; 11-20-2016 at 01:22 PM. Reason: Additional info. |

Found it!
I found the fix! The fix is to use the Add Cover function on the Tools menu in the book editor. Adding it in the metadata interface will not do it. It has to be done in the editor.
