Is sorting misbehaving?
I've just found that when I have a series of books where the title contains a number, the sorting doesn't work right.

For example, I get

Awesome Book, Volume 1
Awesome Book, Volume 10
Awesome Book, Volume 11
Awesome Book, Volume 12
Awesome Book, Volume 2
Awesome Book, Volume 3
Awesome Book, Volume 4
...

I don't see any tweak that would fix this sorting. Is there something I'm missing or a plug-in that adjusts the sorting behavior?

Or is this a known bug?

If it's intentional, I'm curious whether the sorting algorithm can be overridden in a plug-in -- I could whip one up.

That will be because the sorting is strictly alphabetical. You need to include leading zeroes in the numbers to get it to sort how you want.

Preferences->Tweaks->Recognize numbers inside text when sorting
