Wink Bonjour !! From France

Bonjour everyone,

I've already created a thread in another forum but I thought it would be more polite to introduce myself. So here I am.

I'm an XML developer working in the publishing sector, I develop tools to automatically create ePubs, mobi, etc. from different kind of sources (txt, pdf, styled doc, etc.) which is a fascinating and challenging task. I've mostly worked with ePubs but, as mobi eBooks are more and more used, I need to update my knowledge on this part of the eBooks world.

I live in France, and yes, french is one of my mother tongue (that would explain the tons of mistakes I make). I've also almost completed my PhD in computer sciences, so I'm quite into geeky/nerdy stuffs (but not that much).

I don't know what I should add... so ask me any question !!

Bonjour mon ami and welcome to MobileRead. Do you have an eBook reader and what kind of books do you like to read?

Thank you !

I've added some eBook readers I use in my details : I've got a lot of them since it's my job but my personal one is a Kobo Glo which I like for its simplicity and the possibility to vary the luminosity of the screen.

I work in the publishing sector so of course I truly adore books. My favorite genres are sci-fi (but I'm quite a newbie in this genre) and travel stories (real stories like the adventures to the poles from Charcot, Shackleton, etc.), I am also very fond of Finnish and Icelandic literature wether it's modern literature or much more ancient literature like Kalevala.

Bonjour RevonJulie,
